Kindness for Kids is not your average charity organisation. As one of only a handful of Charity’s in Australia that is 100% run by volunteers, every single dollar raised goes to helping out kids in need, instead of being gobbled up by administration costs. This is what attracted us to ‘K4K’ and why we have made them our chosen charity partner. With a clear mission to improve the lives of Australian Children by assiting those who need it most, K4K provide positive experiences, counselling, special gifts, education, fun surprises, funding and support to kids who just need a break – they want to make sure kids doing it tough feel happy and loved and Aussie Boat Sales is on board to help. ‘We have been involved in all sorts of charitys and fund raising missions over the years, but what I love about K4K is the obvious passion of their volunteer group who come up with meaningful ways to provide support; some long term such as paying for a club membership, uniform and transport for a young footy player being raised by Grandparents who would otherwise have missed out; through to renovating a young boys bedroom, arranging for sick kids to meet their heros, takings kids on fishing trips and so much more.
