Cruisers Yachts Launch New VTR Series
Cruisers Yachts, best known for their high-end Sports Yachts and GLS Bowrider series, have just released a totally new range of boats called the VTR, which references to ‘Venture, Track & Roam’.
The New VTR series offers a true multi-purpose design, perfect for any activity an adventurous boating family would undertake. The first boat in the series is a 40-footer (12.19) offered in both an open and enclosed configuration. Both feature a cockpit beach door, single level flooring bow to stern, and twin 300 HP Mercury’s as standard.
In a significant departure from Cruisers Yachts 70+ years of boat building tradition, the new VTR Series features a plumb bow and hybrid stepped hull design that maximises space and enhances on-water performance.
To some degree this new hull shape is in response to the worldwide popularity of similar plumb bow designs from Europe. There is a big difference though in the overall volume, build quality and standard features included in a new VTR by comparison to their Euro rivals; and the best part is that they are priced to compete!
Scott O’Hare from Aussie Boat Sales, the Australian/New Zealand distributer, said, ‘the new VTR design ticks so many boxes for so many people and like all of the Cruisers fleet, it is built by real craftsmen with real passion and extensive boating knowledge, this is a major point of difference with some of our competitors and should be taken into account when making your buying decisions’.
‘Check out the all new VTR, make your comparisons, educate yourself on what boat really offers the best bang for buck, the most thoughtful design and the highest build quality and remember that Cruisers Yachts are owned and backed by the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht business, Marine Max’, he said.
